Who We Are
Veena Vaani was created by Meera Raghu and Rashmi Raghu Duraisamy, mother and daughter. Both were trained in the Veena tradition by their guru, mother, and grandmother: Veena Vidushi Rajalakshmi Tirunarayanan.
It was whilst learning as well as teaching, that we discovered how important it is to have good music notations for students to easily follow, practice and memorise the compositions. We found our inspiration in our guru, who was an expert in teaching and providing good music notations.
